Welcome in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ.
The Hebrew word “Shalom” means completeness, welfare, peace, safety, soundness in body, health, prosperity, quiet, tranquility, contentment, friendship. This peace bought for us by Jesus is more than a peaceful feeling.
In Hebrew, the literal translation is “Nothing missing, nothing broken,” so it is often used to describe ‘salvation’ in Hebrew – the completeness offered by Yeshua Ha’Maschiach, Jesus the Messiah – Shalom describes our new covenant relationship to God through Christ’s blood and sacrifice. We become not only His child but His friend.
